Creating Your Account

Creating your UTurn profile takes only a couple of minutes. The onboarding process is designed to get your account initialized securely so you can start connecting with your real-world network immediately.

The Onboarding Screen

When you launch the UTurn application for the first time, you will be greeted by our clean landing window displaying two primary options:

• Sign In: Select this if you are a returning user and already have an active profile.
• Create Account: Select this to begin initializing your brand new UTurn identity.

Tap Create Account to proceed to the registration setup screen.

Profiling Your Account

To establish your secure identity, fill out the required profile information fields accurately:

• Country Selection: Tap the country dropdown menu and select your physical region from the list.
• Your Name: Type the name or alias you want your close network and friends to see inside chat channels.
• Date of Birth: Enter your exact birth date information using the calendar picker interface.
• Gender Selector: Toggle your selection by tapping either the Male or Female action buttons. The option you choose will highlight instantly to show it is selected.
• Email Address: Provide a valid, active email mailbox that you have immediate access to. This email is strictly utilized to authenticate your account sign-up sequence.

Legal Overview: At the bottom of this profile container, you will see a statement outlining our compliance thresholds. You can tap the inline links to review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before committing your data.

Once your fields are filled out, tap the Register button. If any data field fails validation check, real-time error details will pop up on your screen to help you fix them. If everything looks clean, the system passes you straight to the verification gateway.

Email Code Verification

To confirm ownership of your email address, UTurn fires a secure 6-digit verification code to your mailbox.

1. Locate the entry field on your phone screen.
2. Check your email inbox, look for the automated authentication message from UTurn, and note the numerical code.
3. Type the 6-digit sequence exactly into your app’s verification input field.

Missing your code? If the message doesn’t appear within a minute, check your Spam or Junk folders, as aggressive email filters can occasionally misroute transactional notifications.

Resending Verification Strings

If the code completely fails to arrive, you can request a new one by tapping the Resend Verification Code link. Please note that our system enforces a strict cool-down safety timer between requests. If you tap it too quickly, the application will require you to wait a few minutes before authorizing another server broadcast.

Setting Your Secure Password

Once your email code validates successfully, you will land on the final account creation step: The Password Screen.

• Enter a strong, memorable passphrase into the password input field.
• Re-enter the exact same string into the confirmation input box to verify there are no hidden typos.

Selection Parameters

Our security architecture analyzes your chosen password metrics automatically. If the phrase is too short, common, or predictable, the screen will ask you to select a more robust variation.

Once an acceptable, highly secure password signature is confirmed, your profile deployment wraps up instantly—logging you straight into your brand new UTurn home dashboard.
