Sending Messages and Media

How to send text, record quick voice notes, and share photos or videos.

The chat bar at the bottom of your conversation window changes automatically depending on whether you are typing a text or getting ready to send media.

Sending Text Messages

  1. Tap inside the text box at the bottom of your chat window.
  2. Type out your message.
  3. Notice that as soon as you type your first letter, the Microphone icon on the right changes into a Send arrow.
  4. Tap the Send arrow to send your message.

Recording Voice Notes

If the text box is completely empty, you will see a Microphone icon on the right instead of a send arrow.

  1. Press and hold the Microphone icon to start recording your voice.
  2. Speak clearly into your phone.
  3. Let go of the button, and the app will automatically stop recording and send the voice message.

Sending Photos and Videos

To send files or media, use the Plus (+) button located on the left side of your text input box.

  1. Tap the Plus (+) button next to the text box.
  2. Choose how you want to share your photo or video:
    • Camera: Open your phone’s camera to take a fresh photo or video directly inside the app.
    • Gallery: Browse your phone’s photo library to choose a photo or video you’ve already taken.
  3. Select your media and send it directly into the chat.
