Changing Your Password
How to safely update your account security passphrase inside the UTurn app.
Periodically updating your password metrics is a straightforward way to maintain robust security over your encrypted network profile.
To access these settings, navigate to the Settings tab on the bottom menu bar, tap Account, and select Password.
Updating Your Password Credentials
The password update interface utilizes a standard validation layout to ensure you authorize the change and do not introduce accidental typos into your new credential signature.
- Current Password: Type your existing account password into the first input field to authenticate your identity.
- New Password: Type your brand new passphrase into the second input field. Choose a strong, complex combination of characters.
- Confirm New Password: Re-enter your new passphrase exactly into the final verification box.
Committing the Changes
Once you have filled out all three validation entries, tap the action button to commit the update.
- Successful Update: If your current password is correct, the new entries match perfectly, and your chosen passphrase meets our security strength thresholds, the changes will save instantly.
- Validation Failure: If something is incorrect—such as a typo in your confirmation field or an invalid current password entry—the interface will display a real-time error message to guide your corrections.
