Managing Your Main Profile
How to update your display photo, name, and status text.
Your main profile contains the photo, name, and about status that other users see when you communicate with them on UTurn.
To view or modify these details at any time, select the Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar and tap Profile.
Updating Your Profile Photo
Tapping your profile photo opens the media selection screen, where you can choose how to source your image:
- Camera: Launch your device’s camera to take a new photo immediately.
- Gallery: Browse your device’s local storage to select an existing image.
Once you capture or select an image, a circular overlay guide will appear on the screen. Drag, scale, and adjust the image so that the portion you want visible sits cleanly inside the circle. Tap Save to upload and apply the new photo.
Modifying Your Display Name
Your display name is the primary label shown in active chat threads and communications. You can use your real name, a nickname, or a secure alias.
- From the Profile menu, tap Name.
- Type your preferred changes into the text input box.
- Tap Save to commit the update.
Editing Your About Status
The About field allows you to add a brief custom text description to your profile.
- From the Profile menu, tap About.
- Type your updated text directly into the text field window.
- Tap Save to apply your new status.
