Changing Your Email Address
How to update and verify the primary email address linked to your UTurn profile.
Your verified email address is used to authenticate your profile security parameters. If you need to migrate your account to a new mailbox, you can update your configuration directly within the application settings.
To access these settings, select the Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar, tap Account, and select Email.
Entering Your New Email Destination
When you open the Email settings row, the interface displays your currently active email address alongside a dedicated input field for your update.
- Locate the input text field on the change email screen.
- Type your new, active email address carefully into the field.
- Tap Next to initiate the network security verification sequence.
Verifying the Update
To ensure you have full ownership of the new mailbox before committing any changes, the UTurn network fires an automated security transmission containing a 6-digit verification code to the new address you provided.
- Keep the UTurn app open on your device and navigate to your email mailbox.
- Locate the automated message from UTurn and copy the 6-digit numerical string.
- Return to the UTurn verification window and type the code exactly into the input slots.
Verification Troubleshooting: If the authentication code does not land in your main inbox within a few moments, thoroughly check your Spam or Junk mail folders. Aggressive network mail filters can occasionally misroute automated transactional traffic.
Once you supply the correct 6-digit sequence, the application commits the changes immediately, linking your UTurn profile permanently to your new email address.
