Deleting your account is a permanent, irreversible action that completely decommissions your identity on the network and purges all communication data from your device hardware.

To access this screen, select the Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar, tap Account, and select Delete account.

Understanding Account Deletion Effects

Before finalizing this sequence, it is vital to understand that this action cannot be undone. Once your account deletion is processed:

  • Complete File Purge: Every single message string, database entry, voice note, video snippet, and image attachment cached within your local application sandbox will be completely destroyed.
  • Network Handle Decommission: Your unique 11-digit UTurn Number will be permanently detached from your profile on the network architecture.
  • Contact Visibility: If other users attempt to transmit text messages to your old handle, the indicators will show that the messages are never delivered. If someone attempts to place a voice or video call to your decommissioned handle, they will receive a “number does not exist” error.

Confirming Permanent Deletion

Because this process completely deletes your historical database footprint, the system requires a manual cryptographic verification step to authorize the request.

  1. Review the warning text displayed on the Delete Account screen.
  2. Locate the password confirmation input box.
  3. Type your secure account password exactly into the field.
  4. Tap the primary confirmation button.

If the password entry is correct, the client application will instantly execute a full local destruction sequence on your database directory, sign you out of the server infrastructure, and return you to the initial application launch window.
