On Android (Play Store Profile Change)

If the Google Play Store detects you are browsing from a restricted country, it will hide the UTurn application asset.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.
  3. Expand the General dropdown menu, then select Account and device preferences.
  4. Under the Country and profiles section, select a country that respects digital privacy rights.
  5. Relaunch the Play Store app. The unrestricted directory will populate, making UTurn visible for download.

On iPhone (App Store Region Switching)

Because iOS restricts software installations to Apple’s sandbox environment, you must update your directory profile to an un-censored region.

  1. Navigate to your device’s system settings and select your Apple ID Profile banner.
  2. Tap Media & Purchases, then select View Account.
  3. Select Country/Region and tap Change Country or Region.
  4. Select a country designation that preserves digital privacy rights and accept the updated terms.
  5. Launch the App Store. The unrestricted UTurn repository will now be fully accessible.
